I've wanted to learn Tiger Rag for years, and since I have recently gotten interested in early Texas swing (Light Crust Doughboys, Pat O'Daniel and his Hillbilly Boys, etc.), I went ahead and transcribed this version by the Light Crust Doughboys. There was a minimal amount of double-stops and drones in the recording, so I only made a single transcription.

There were two fiddle solos in the tune, and both are transcribed here. The first was a prolonged instrumental introduction, which was mostly fiddle, with passages of slap bass and flat-picked guitar. This part is on the first page of the transcription. It starts out in the key of C, but switches to F during the introduction. There is another fiddle part after the vocals, which is on the second page of this transcription. Note that this part consists entirely of hokum bowing. This was followed by breaks on other instruments.

I only recorded the first fiddle part, since I didn't feel up to trying my hand at the hokum.
