Comments:

This is my favorite version of Wolves A' Howlin' so far, by Mississippi fiddler John A. Brown. It really has an archaic, old time sound. Cross-tune to GDGD. The unison Ds in the first few measures (visible in the full transcription) sound like the titular wolves howling. I highly recommend this version.

Bruce Molsky has a wonderful version on his Lost Boy album.
