Here is a nice version of Leather Britches as played by the well-known Benton Flippen, a fiddler from Mt. Airy, North Carolina. He said that he learned this tune from his Uncle John, who was also a good fiddler. This was the first tune that Benton learned.

In the video, he plays through the tune twice, with slight variations. I went ahead and notated out both passes through the tune rather than clutter up the transcription with a lot of variations. It sounds like he used a good bit of the Georgia Shuffle bowing pattern.
