Uncle Dave Macon recorded his version of Sail Away Ladies in 1927. I basically learned the tune from this recording, but I always played it in A like my jamming partners did (rather than G as in the recording). I was able to transcribe five repetitions of the tune. The B parts are of varying lengths, as the fiddler had to accommodate Uncle Dave's boisterous vocals.

I'm not sure who the lead fiddler is on this recording. I'm guessing it's either Kirk McGee or Mazy Todd. If anyone can confirm, I would be grateful.
