Comments:

The A part of this quickstep is pretty much the same as the A part to the qucickstep version of Mississippi Breakdown.  It was recorded by the Red-Headed Fiddlers, led by Albert Lee "Red" Steeley.  Like myself, Steeley was an Alabama-to-Texas transplant.  (He was born in Scottsboro, Alabama, right across the mountain from where I grew up.)  Steeley was a luthier as well as a fiddler.

The recording consisted of five repetitions of the tune, then a single A part as the ending.  My MP3 and MIDI are of the fifth repetition and the ending.
