This version of Lost Indian comes to us from West Virginia fiddler Clark Kessinger.  This is my favorite version of this tune so far.  Those with a bluegrass background may recognize this tune as Cherokee Shuffle, which was actually based on this version of Lost Indian.  This tune can be a little challenging.  Look out for unison notes and triplets.  Also, listen to Kessinger on the YouTube video below to hear where he added vocals to imitate the whoops of a dying Indian.
