Comments:

West Virginia fiddler Burl Hammons tuned to GDAD to play Indian Nation, allowing him to play unison Ds on the first and second string that sound somewhat like Indians whooping.  He played the tune four times in the recording.  The first time through, he added two extra beats to the B part that he didn't add on subsequent repetitions, so this was likely a mistake.  Therefore, I recommend learning the tune from later repetitions.

Hammons took this simple tune and really spiced it up.  It's not a very hard tune, but look out for triplets, including bowed triplets!
