Carroll County Blues was written by Mississippi fiddler Will Narmour, of the well-known Mississippi stringband Narmour and Smith.  It was apparently named after Narmour's native Carroll County, MS.  Doc Roberts probably learned it from a N&S record, and thus this is one of Roberts' rare covers.  (He preferred to do native Kentucky tunes.)  This isn't a very hard rag, but be careful of the syncopation and the crooked measures.
