An old time fiddler whose name I do not recall.

I really love this tune. This is usually the first tune I'll play for someone. (When my wife-to-be first brought her parents to meet me, I played this tune for them.) I learned it as a three-part tune. The A and B parts are in the key of D (look out for the incidentals in the B part), but the C part is a little squirrely key-wise. The first measure of the C part is on a G chord, the second measure on C chord, the third measure on an A chord, and the fourth measure on a D chord. I don't play the C part on the last repetition. I often encounter this as a two-part tune; even Melvin Wine only played two parts. But I think the C part is too cool to omit.
