Recording on the album Lewis Thomasson: Old Texas Fiddle Tunes Played the Old Way

Comments:

This is a really nice three-part rag that Thomasson probably learned from recordings of Charlie Bowman and the Hill Billies. You will need to go up to third position in the C part. In the first measure of the first and third lines of the C part, play the A with your middle finger so that you can easily grab the C# with your pinkie. In the third measure of those lines, the tune drops down to an E, allowing you to easily go back into first position.
