Comments:

Thomasson’s Forty Years Ago and Rose Waltz are probably the most intricate pieces I have transcribed to date. This one may not be quite as scary as Rose Waltz, but it still has a lot of challenges, including thirty-second notes, sixteenth notes, difficult double-stops, and triplets. In fact, we have three varieties of triplets: fast (triplets over sixteenth notes), regular (over eighth notes), and slow (over quarter notes). Do not confuse this waltz with another well-known waltz entitled Fifty Years Ago.
