The primary feature of this waltz is difficult double-stops. Don’t worry if your intonation isn’t perfect; Hunt’s wasn’t in the recording. The tune consists of a single part, played six times. The third and fifth times through are high variations. There isn’t really a proper ending; Hunt appeared to have started a seventh repetition but had to cut it short due to recording time constraints. Be careful of the ties; observing these are critical to getting the timing and syncopation right. The recording had degraded significantly before digitization, which is probably why it isn’t widely available.
