Here's one of my favourite tunes, and I believe it was the first old time tune I learned on the fiddle. Both parts end on a E minor chord, giving it a really cool sound. This is also a great Contra tune; I heard this played at a contra dance just last night. For once, I was dancing rather than fiddling, experiencing this music from the other side. Don't rush this tune.

I believe this tune is in The Portland Collection as "Round the Horn," written by Jay Ungar and copyrighted 1978 by Swinging Door Music. It's one of my favorites, too.
