Recording of Gary Lee Moore released on the album Uncle Pig

Moore reports that he got this tune from Montana fiddler Dick Barrett, who likely “got it from the great [Texas fiddler] Major Franklin.” Both parts of this tune follow roughly the same pattern with interesting phrasing. The A part is in the key of G, while the B part is in the key of C. I recommend the second and third times through the tune for learning it, as the A part the first time through is irregular (it is missing a measure and the first two lines don’t really follow the pattern of the rest of the tune).
