This is a nice version of Sourwood Mountain from Georgia fiddler Gid Tanner. Since there are no vocals, Gid was able to focus on his fiddling rather than overall minstrelsy, and it shows.   Sourwood Mountain consists of two parts of one line each. The parts are repeated two or three times in any given repetition of the tune. Gid’s setting is pretty straightforward, but look out for sixteenth notes, grace notes, and triplets (including fast triplets over sixteenth notes).
