Recording of Gene Goforth released on the album Traditional Fiddle Music of the Ozarks: Volume I: Along the Eastern Crescent

Goforth played this old standard breakdown in four parts. The C and D parts are short, and the D part is somewhat crooked, with two extra beats where it transitions back to the A part for the next repetition of the tune. The only difficulty in this tune may be the passage in the first measure of each line in the A part which requires you to hold a D on the fourth string while playing the melody on third string.
