This is a difficult waltz from West Virginia fiddler Clark Kessinger. The biggest difficulty comes from the odd timings, which I have tried to capture the best I could in the transcription. He played trills which sound like sixteenth notes, so I have transcribed them as such. You will also find two decuplet in the transcription. Technically, these 10 notes should be played in one beat. But just execute a run from an F on the first string down to a B-flat on the fourth string in one beat and it should be okay. Kessinger used a lot of vibrato, which is denoted in the notation by squiggly lines to the left of notes to be played vibrato. Don’t rush this waltz.
