Comments:

This is a really cool version of Salt River from Virginia fiddler Norman Edmonds. This is a good example of traditional mountain fiddling from the well-known Galax area of Virginia. I really like this version. There’s a good bit of the Nashville Shuffle bowing pattern, but combined with some other sophisticated bowing.
