Private recording of Ed Haley released on the album Ed Haley, Volume 2: Grey Eagle

This version of Grey Eagle comes to us from influential blind West Virginia fiddler Ed Haley. I am fairly confident of the melody in the transcription, but I am less confident about some of the drones and double-stops. Some may have been omitted, and others may be spurious. They were hard to discern due to the low quality of the recording and a backing instrument that seemed to be droning an A much of the time. There are many A-C# double-stops with the A on the third string and the C# on the second string. Watch out for accidentals, particularly G naturals and C naturals.
