Comments:

According to the liner notes to the Eminence Breakdown album, this tune has been “played in the Goforth's family for several generations.” It’s a three part tune, generally structured A B C B. The B part utilizes pizzicato (picking a string or strings with fingers of your left hand), which seems to be quite effective in the AEAC# tuning. In the full transcription, you will find a few instances of B# notes. These are, of course, C-naturals, a common blue note in this tune. I notated them as B#s whenever they were played against a C# drone, as this is the only way I could get my software to render them legibly.
