Comments:

This is a really nice Indian-themed tune. If it is related at all to the Lost Indian tune family that eventually led to the development of Cherokee Shuffle, it is only distantly related. I’m not a big fan of the AEAC# tuning, but Dr. Hollis used it to good effect here. The A part is extremely crooked, with most lines having an extra two beats. Be careful of the timing and syncopation in the A part.   The B part features pizzicato passages, including a few beats where you have to pizz on one string while bowing another.

Tune to AEAC#.
