According to the Fiddler’s Companion, this widespread North American reel may be related to or descended from the English tune Duke of Cornwall’s Reel. This lovely reel has four parts; the B, C, and D parts are each only half the length of the A part. Look out for sixteenth notes, triplets (including triplets over sixteenth notes), and accidentals.
