Comments:

According to the Fiddler’s Companion, Ostinelli’s Reel, sometimes called Austin’s Reel, is named after 19th century Italian violinist Louis Ostinelli. You may find this reel to be somewhat tricky, as it goes up to a high E. A good bit of the A part consists of arpeggiated A chords. I really like the high energy with which Thomasson fiddled this reel.
