I suspect that the title of this tune refers to the fraternity of Freemasons rather than actual bricklayers, or perhaps a person by the name of Mason. Either way, this is a great little march from Arkansas fiddler Sam Younger. Younger structured the tune AA B. The B part features a good bit of pizzicato, and is crooked.

Note that this does not seem to be the Irish Mason’s March documented in the Fiddler’s Companion.
